Boldness - Emily Receives a Character Award Honoring Her Boldness for Christ

Emily's teachers described her as:

Possessing commitment to know the truth and having willingness to stand up for what is right. During Bible and Circle time she asks good questions and searches for a deeper meaning. She knows and understands the safety rules on the playground and in the classroom and does not bend or stretch the rules, nor does she look for exceptions. She stands up for what is right even if she is doing it alone. When problems arise, she can be trusted to retell circumstances with honesty and fairness. She works with teachers and fellow students to find the trust and determine the right solution. She has a clear voice for truth and is a reminder that boldness comes from knowing God and being ready to stand up for what is right in the world.

Psalms 86:11 was chosen to describe Emily. It says,

"Teach me your way oh Lord, and I will walk in your truth; Give me an undivided heart, that I may fear you name."
